White Pass and Yukon Route
The White Pass and Yukon Route will take you through some of the Canadian North’s most ruggedly beautiful terrain. On tracks built during the Klondike Gold Rush trains follow the original route of the hopeful stampeders of 1898. There are many of tours to choose from, with excursions departing from Skagway, Alaska and arriving in Whitehorse. The excursions also vary in length depending on the route. Options include trips to historic Lake Bennett, White Pass Summit and its restored 1903 station. View spectacular panoramas of the Sawtooth Mountains and the Lynn Canal, travel past rushing torrents, cascading waterfalls and up craggy mountainsides. For more information on excursions and fares visit the website at www.wpyr.com.
