Avondale Railway and Community Museum
The former railway station houses two museums, the community museum and the railway museum. The railway museum has a static 5-car train display and there is also a fully operating mini-train that bring visitors for rides on a narrow gauge track.

Location: Avondale is located in Conception Bay on the Avalon Peninsula, it is just minutes from St. John's.

Bishop’s Falls
Former railway trestle, now a boardwalk spanning 927 feet across the Exploits River. This steel & granite structure was built in 1901.

Location: Bishop’s Falls is located on the banks of the Exploits River.

Carbonear Railway Station
The Carbonear Railway Station was built to help stimulate the local economy. The station was restored and turned into a museum by the Carbonear Heritage Society and in 1987 is recognized as a heritage structure.

Location: Carbonear is located about 70 miles from St. John’s by road.

J.R. Smallwood Interpretation & Kittiwaki Coast Information Centre
The Centre showcases numerous artifacts from the Smallwood era. The Centre accents Gambo’s rich industrial history through exhibits depicting the logging and railway industries.

Location: Gambo is located along Route 220 on the shore of Freshwater Bay

Lewisporte Train Park & Hiking Trail
Tour authentic Newfoundland trains, includes a caboose, passenger car, plow and engine. View the historic museum and display that depicts the railway.

Location: The seaport town of Lewisporte is situated in the central region at the head of Burnt Bay.

Newfoundland T’Railway Council
This non-profi t corporation is dedicated to the development of a recreational trail from St. John’s to Port aux Baques using the former CN railway line.

Port aux Basques Heritage Centre
The centre is dedicated to the education and awareness of the history of railways in Newfoundland. The centre consists of a reconstructed replica of the original 1898 passenger station and a restored nine car train. The train is made up of a snowplow, diesel locomotive, two tank cars from WWII, a Newfoundland boxcar, a sleeper car, two baggage cars and a caboose.

Location: Port aux Basques is located on the south west tip of Newfoundland.

Port Union Historical Museum
The museum is located in the 1917 Reid Railway Station and contains a history of the Reid Newfoundland Railway.

Location: Port Union is located 107 Km Northwest of St. John’s.

Railway Coastal Museum
Located in the Newfoundland Railway Station, the single most significant reminder of the glory days of the Newfoundland Railway. This very distinctive building was designed here, and built of Newfoundland granite. Completely restored to its original style, the old Station now houses over 100 exhibits and displays.

Railway Society of Newfoundland
The society was formed in 1987 when the Baldwin Steam Locomotive #593 was moved to the historic train site at Humbermouth. It was established to ensure that all future generations would be able to experience the history of Newfoundland's railways. The society has accumulated many artifacts such as rolling stock, train order semaphore signal board, train orders and historic photos.

Location: Corner Brook is situated along the southern shore of the Bay of Islands, extending along 11km of coastline and 40km in land from the open waters of the gulf of the St. Lawrence.

Trinity Loop Amusement Park
Trinity Loop is the longest miniature train ride in Eastern Canada. The loop is unique for two reasons: it is one of the few stretches of Newfoundland's railways still left in place and it also has a very unique design. The loop is approximately 2,000m and when circling the pond the elevation drop is 10.3 m (approx. 34ft.).

Whitbourne Museum
The museum is housed in the old Whitbourne railway station. It has a large collection of Sir Robert Bond's personal artifacts and many other artifacts relating to the railway, the Newfoundland Ranger Force and the history of the community.

Location: Whitbourne is an inland town situated on the Avalon Peninsula on the eastern part of the island.
